On July 15, 2006, Hopkins Rotary once again drew the name of the winner for our 14th annual car raffle. This years prize was a $17,000 Ford Fusion! There were approximately 23,000 names in the drawing and our winner was a very lucky young man from New Market, MN. Our winner shared that he was happy to take the cash prize option noting a new baby boy and recent home purchase. Congratulations to Adrian Wilson of New Market, MN. Thanks to Adrian and everyone who purchased tickets this year and in the past years.

The funds raised in the annual car raffle primarily supports the Hopkins Rotary Foundation. This foundation was created for the purpose of providing education support for Hopkins and Minnetonka students. The foundation is over $150,000 and growing thanks to contributions and support of many generous Hopkins Rotarians' since being started in 1992.

The Hopkins Rotary Foundation was created and is managed by a variety of dedicated Hopkins Rotarians over the last 14 years. This Foundation is healthy and growing thanks to the hard work of our fundraising leaders, scholarship committees, and every Rotarian.
